Take the kids for a cruise these summer holidays under Auckland’s harbour bridge through the upper harbour and into the Whau River, to enjoy a few drinks and a bite to eat at Auckland’s best kept secret – the Te Atatu Boating Club.
Departing from Westhaven Marina, we leave the city behind and cruise into the sheltered waters of Auckland’s upper harbour travelling past Meola Reef, Westmere and Avondale. We then venture under the North Western Motorway before arriving at the Te Atatu Boating Club.
A full Commentary is provided throughout the cruise and we have a licensed bar on board that also sells snacks, Tea and Coffee.
The Te Atatu Boating club is a fantastic Venue for the whole family, hosting large indoor & outdoor areas which include a kids playground, a large sun soaked deck with views over the river, a licensed Bar with a huge selection of beverages, Pool tables, a Kids room, and a popular A la cart’e Restaurant which has recently been renovated and has amazing reviews.

Our Te Atatu Boat club cruise departs from Pier Z Westhaven Marina 31 Westhaven drive Auckland. We also do a pick up at Birkenhead wharf on the way to Te Atatu. For Birkenhead pick ups the ferry will arrive 10 to 15 minutes after our departure from Auckland.

Pay by plate parking is available and Pier Z. Parking costs $4 per hour or $32.00 for the day. Please pay attention to signage to ensure you are parking in the correct area (white lines) and paying the correct fee. Further public carparking is available further along Westhaven Drive at NZ Marine between the white lines and is just a short 700m walk up to Pier Z, this is free on weekends and Public Holidays.
