Individual Fishing Trips: Jump on board our Fishing boat MV Ocean Spirit for an Awesome days Fishing on Auckland's Waitemata Harbour. Fishing on Auckland harbour is a great day out and The Red boats have a cheap way to get you out on the water without having to hire the whole boat! Our Individual Fishing Trips are open to the public and offer a great days Fishing for Individuals or small groups from 1 to 8 people, starting from $55.00 per person.
Our Fishing boat is set up for Fishing and can fish up to 20 anglers. We normally put a maximum of 18 passengers on individual Fishing trips for comfort. We have excellent catch rates, and our Fishing boat is run by experienced fisherman with over 10 years experience charter fishing on Auckland Harbour. We have the latest electronic fish finding equipment on board, to ensure your days fishing is awesome. Rods, and Free Tea and Coffee, are available on board however, alcohol is BYO. Bait can be purchased at Top Catch bait and tackle shop located just up the road from Westhaven marina, or from the Z Pier store at our departure point Z Pier Westhaven Marina.  We can also supply bait by prior arrangement

Gold Card Holders: $45.00 per person Valid Monday to Friday Only.

Public Afternoon Fishing Trip 5pm – 9:30pm (4.5 hours)


$55.00 per person evening
Incld GST (Rods & Bait not included)
Our Vessel holds a current Maritime New Zealand certificate of survey and has all the applicable safety equiptment on board including Life Jackets.

We can hire rods or you are welcome to Bring your own.

$20.00 per rod or bring your own equipment

We provide free Tea and Coffee and although we have some bins on board for fish, we recommend bringing your own bins to take your fish home in.

We do not have food on board so please bring plenty of food and drink for the day.

The Vessel is fully covered however we are out on the water so please bring warm clothing.
We supply free Tea and Coffee however Alcohol food and Refreshments is BYO. Our Vessel is licensed so all normal bar rules apply while on board.
Rods can be hired on board for $20.00pp

Rods come with 1 set of tackle, extra tackle can be purchased for $5.00 a set.

You can purchase bait from the Z Pier store at our departure point or the top catch bait & tackle shop is just up the road.

We are located at Pier Z Westhaven Marina 31 Westhaven Drive.

Parking at Westhaven Marina is Pay and display and costs $20.00 for 24 hours. You must pay at the parking machine and put your parking ticket in your window so it can be clearly seen. You can only Park in the Yellow lines, Cars parked in the red lines will be ticketed even if you have paid for parking. We recommend paying $20.00 for 24 hours parking. The Red boats accepts no responsibility if you choose to pay for less and receive a parking ticket if the boat is running late. Parking is your responsibility, The Red boats accepts no responsibility for customer parking.
