  • Deposits are not refundable or transferable, so please ensure you have booked the correct date and have enough people for your charter before paying your deposit.
  • Your date is not secured until you have received your confirmation and your deposit has been paid.
  • We will only hold a booked date for 2 days without payment of a deposit.
  • You can also pay your deposit by direct credit to the account number on your confirmation form.

Covid 19 Policy


We are currently open and operating under ALL traffic light system levels.

Covid 19 Policy: The Red Boats operates within the current guidelines set by the Ministry of Health. Our vessels are cleaned and sanitized daily, and we provide hand washing stations and sanitizer on board for our customers. Social distancing, face masks & other measures may be required on board depending on the Alert level status & Ministry of Health Guidelines in place at the time. The Red Boats are able to operate at all levels of the traffic light system within restrictions.

Covid positive cancelation policy:: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice of ANY cancellation. All bookings are non-refundable however we offer ONE rebook to be used within 6 weeks of cancelations on all Ferry & Individuals fishing bookings with proof of a positive test result or 3 months for Party Cruises /Group fishing charters. Rebooks cannot be used for the months of November/December unless by prior arrangement. All other cancelation terms and conditions remain the same.

Covid Lockdowns & Cancelations: We will endeavor to proceed with your charter providing we are permitted to operate under any Covid restrictions that may be in place at the time. In the event of a lockdown, or the Charter NOT being able to proceed due to Covid, alternative Charter dates will be offered. We will do our best to ensure we find you an alternative date when Covid restrictions will allow us to operate. The Red Boats do not offer refunds for any booked charters that are cancelled due to Covid 19 or Lockdown restrictions. All monies paid to The Red Boats are Non refundable.
